I have spent my career telling people’s stories - from corporate executives, employees and retirees, to university students, professors and alumni, to local community members, businesses and associations. I have long toyed with the idea of writing a novel (as many writers do), but never found “the story” to write. Meanwhile, a writer/editor job that I loved ended much sooner than expected. After “trying on” a number of different new and different careers, I realized that I needed to return to storytelling. Here, I will tell the interesting, inspiring and important stories of the Leaders Among Us.

A part-time college student, studying sociology and communications, and a full-time event concierge for an international luxury hotel brand, Katie is also an aspiring writer. She will use her creativity to share the stories of people who have been lights along the pathway of her personal and professional journey.
